Incheon Film Commission
In 2013, The Incheon Film Commission was established as an independent nonprofit corporation to strategically develop the local film and cultural industries. The commission actively supports government businesses, sourcing film locations, as well as investing in local infrastructure and training related talent. To bridge the gap between industry and the local citizenry, the Film Commission runs film-screening programs and hosts the annual Diaspora Film Festival alongside other ventures to increase the region’s cultural diversity.
WETA WORKSHOP
The creators of the Lord of Rings trilogy and The Hobbit are coming to Incheon!
Co-founded by Richard Taylor and Peter Jackson, Weta Workshop is a world-famous conceptual design & visual effects company located in Wellington, New Zealand. The company develops conceptual designs, special effects, props, costumes and miniatures for film, television and games. With more than 40 conceptual designers, they’ve worked on the projects The Lord of Rings trilogy, King Kong, Avatar, The Hobbit, Mad Max, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, Blade Runner 2049, Warcraft, I am Mother and so many more.

A Korean cooperative firm from Weta Workshop, undertaking co-production and exhibitions planning, and film production.
